The climate crisis.

The housing crisis.

The accelerating health care crisis.

These are my priorities as we start this critical new year, John.

I've been fighting to shine a spotlight, provide solutions, and organize around these three issues.

We can't settle for small solutions that nibble around the edges. We must have broad plans and bold action in order to solve these crises.

And this year is the year we're going to break through.

I plan to spend my time in Congress and my time campaigning in Oregon and across the country on these three issues. While each present their own challenges, they all link together; solving one will help us solve the others.

But I can't do it alone, John. Contributions from grassroots supporters like you allow us to do the organizing and the educational work it takes to keep pushing these issues forward.

Make no mistake, the status quo interests and their enablers are committed to stopping our efforts. In particular, the big drug companies are gunning for me.

Just this month, I was able to defeat them and strip out the sweetheart deal that they tried to put in our trade agreement with Mexico and Canada. This is one of the first times in decades big pharma companies have lost a Congressional fight, and as The New York Times reported, "the drug industry is not pleased."

They have almost unlimited resources, but I have people like you who are willing to stand up for working families.

Contribute now to show them the strength of our grassroots movement!

We don't have a lot of time left and I'm ready to get to work... I hope you are as well.

Courage,

Earl
