Early voting has started in Texas, and no surprise: We’ve received hundreds of reports from fellow Texans who’ve been denied the right to vote, had their votes thrown out, or been intimidated at the polling station.

It’s updated voter suppression tactics—and they’re working, especially in certain counties here in Texas.

The good news? Mothers Against Greg Abbott isn’t going to sit idle while fellow Texans are deprived of their voting rights. We’re fighting this right now, while voters are still standing in line.

We’ve just created the Mothers Defend Democracy fund to spearhead our challenge to voter suppression and to bring in the right expertise to help fight this.

The bad news? We have to raise $50,000 in the next two days. Can you chip in now? I hate to ask but this is a true emergency—the reports we’ve gotten can’t be ignored. We have to act now if we are going to protect the polls.
