Voting to impeach the president was not what I set out to do when I ran for Congress.
But I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Donald Trump's abuse of power is a clear and present danger to our beautiful, but all too fragile democracy.
Now while we are fighting to hold Trump accountable, what might get lost in the slew of headlines about impeachment is what House Democrats are getting done for the American people. This month alone, we've passed historic bills to restore the Voting Rights Act, ensure paid family leave for federal workers, and lower the skyrocketing costs of lifesaving prescription drugs.
If you believe in the work we're doing, I'm asking you to chip in to my end-of-year deadline to help defend this crucial battleground seat and protect our Democratic majority in 2020 >>

As committed as we are to defending our democracy, House Democrats are equally dedicated to delivering progress for the hardworking families who are counting on it. But we can't do it without your help.
Thank you,
Sean
