I broke barriers when I won my primary as a 25 year old Afro-Latino progressive, but the fight for progress in Florida is far from over.

Today, I’m asking you to step up and help Eunic Ortiz– a proud gay Latina progressive– defeat her far-right extremist opponent in 13 days and fight Ron DeSantis’ tyrannical agenda in the the Florida State Senate.

There are three things you need to know about Eunic’s race:
1. Eunic is an incredible union organizer and educator who has devoted her life to fighting for a better Florida, including leading the team to raise the minimum wage in Florida to $15/hour.
2. Her opponent is an extremist DeSantis puppet who fought to pass a 15-week abortion ban and the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
3. The race for this open swing seat is so tight, it will be decided by just HUNDREDS if not DOZENS of votes– meaning every single dollar is going to count.
