PFAW’s efforts have been critical to so many progressive election successes, and 2020 will be no different.
We are experts at mobilizing voters who are key to progressive success … voters many Democratic campaigns have traditionally fallen short in reaching out to – including the skyrocketing number of eligible Latino voters.
We support real progressive candidates who, once elected, are dedicated to enacting real progressive change and the vital reforms our country so desperately needs – to protect voting rights, women’s rights, civil rights and liberties, workers, consumers, fair elections, our courts, and equality for all.
And, of course, day in and day out, we are leading major national movements to save our federal courts from right-wing takeover, strengthen our democracy, counter the Radical Right’s extremism and bigotry, and more.
Our work in 2020 will be focused first and foremost on DEFEATING Trump and Trumpism … but we’re also working to FLIP the U.S. Senate and end Mitch McConnell’s extreme, far-right majority … elect a deep bench of young progressive change makers to every level of state and local office … and maintain the grassroots advocacy efforts needed to rescue our democracy from the rise of right-wing hate and authoritarianism.
But we’re going to be up against the most well-funded right-wing movement ever … and with our opponents’ willingness to do anything to win – including lie and cheat! – we need to overcome voter suppression, endless lies from the right-wing smear machine, likely foreign interference from Russia and others, and constant fake news spread on social media. We’re truly in for the fight of our lives.
It’s the most important time ever for PFAW members to step up – and that means you too, friend. We are depending on you, and so is our precious yet fragile democracy.
