So it’s unbelievable he would accuse AG Ellison of a lack of involvement in seeking justice for George Floyd.
Friend,
Keith Ellison has done an excellent job serving as Attorney General of Minnesota, from holding drug companies accountable to protecting small businesses. And last year, AG Ellison delivered a measure of justice for George Floyd in the midst of one of the most historically significant movements addressing racial injustice in our lifetimes, which is why we can’t believe what his opponent said during their most recent debate.
GOP AG contender Jim Schultz claimed that AG Ellison deserves no credit for his role in prosecuting Derek Chauvin. That is beyond delusional and wrong. AG Ellison successfully led the prosecution team, and he was deeply involved in everything from strategy, to jury selection, to preparing witnesses. He has shown time and again he has the experience needed to lead the AG’s office and is steadfast in his commitment to upholding justice. We have to keep AGs like Keith Ellison in office. What’s even more shocking about this race is that Jim Schultz has zero courtroom experience. He even admitted it himself during a TV interview! Schultz lacks the experience necessary in the AG’s office and his lack of understanding is glaring. He can’t be trusted to protect the interests of everyday Minnesotans.
