Every month, my team sets internal fundraising goals to keep us on track for the quarter and the election. It’s a whole process — we tally projections, run models, look at previous quarters, and determine what we’ll need in the coming months to help fund our work to defend our razor-thin Senate majority.

Right now, we need to raise $12,073 by our final end-of-month deadline before Election Day. I know that’s a tall order, but that's what it’s gonna take to compete with the GOP money machine.

Voters are already casting ballots all over the country, and the decisions Americans are making right now will determine the direction of our country for years to come. There’s so much on the line this year — from our economy to reproductive rights — and our team is working overtime to make sure folks in battleground states know the stakes and have a plan to vote.

But these efforts take resources. It takes money to organize canvassing, run ads, and reach folks online. So when our team sets monthly fundraising goals in order to stay on track, it’s critical that we’re able to meet and exceed them.
