John -- it's been a big month for James Mackler's Senate campaign:

Bill Haslam announced he wasn't running for Senate.
The president tweet-launched the candidacy of his hand-picked choice weeks before any official announcements was made.
And, in other news, I got married yesterday! (James' wife, Rabbi Shana Mackler, officiated the ceremony!)
