It's time to take action.

Today, Republican leaders from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives announced impeachment articles against Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. This impeachment effort comes just a year after DA Krasner was reelected in a landslide by Philadelphia voters.

For out-of-town lawmakers to impeach a duly elected public official simply because they have policy disagreements is unprecedented. It's also gravely undemocratic.

DA Krasner has been a progressive prosecutor during his time in office, working towards vital reforms in police accountability and the criminal legal system. These are the reforms that Philadelphia voters supported in their reelection of Krasner. But that doesn't matter to the right-wing extremists who are willing to disenfranchise Philadelphia voters through this sham impeachment effort.

If it can happen in Philadelphia, it can happen anywhere in the commonwealth.

That's why it's so urgent that you send a message to your state rep urging them to reject this sham impeachment and to respect democracy and the will of Philadelphia voters. <[link removed]>

After all, if DA Krasner can be impeached, what's to stop right-wing radicals from moving to impeach the candidate that you worked so hard to elect?
