The Republican Party is pouring cash into CA-49 and attacking me in every way possible. I’m even on the National Republican Congressional Committee’s target list!
I’ll be honest - this is a tough race and I knew from day one these attacks would happen.
With only a few seats separating the GOP from the majority, a district as close as CA-49 is the perfect pickup opportunity for national Republicans.
And we all know what that would look like: A GOP controlled House would fight for a national abortion ban, Trump’s MAGA agenda, and undo ALL of the progress Democrats have made since 2020.
We can’t afford to lose our slim majority, but winning in November is going to take massive financial resources.
