A history of standing up to persecution, discrimination and bigotry. Of fighting not only for the rights and safety of our community, but of all communities facing discrimination in this country.
Those are the same values, rights and freedoms that are hanging in the balance in our democracy right now. With polling showing that pro-democracy majorities in the House and Senate rest on a knife’s edge, we have to leave it all on the field once more in the lead up to Election Day.
