Last night, Dr. Oz said abortion should be left up to "women, doctors, and local political leaders" in a debate with John Fetterman for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania.
The latest polls show this is a 2 point race. After this remark by Oz, over $1 million flooded into Fetterman’s campaign because we cannot afford to lose this Senate race.
Oz’s statement wasn’t just a gaffe. MSNBC reports, "Oz refused to distance himself from a draconian bill from Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina that would ban abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy everywhere in America."
On economic issues -- from protecting Social Security and Medicare to universal child care to raising the minimum wage -- the difference could not be more different between Oz and Fetterman. And Oz attacked Fetterman last night for saying he will be the 51st vote to end the filibuster -- a position which Fetterman strongly restated.
Everything comes down to what happens in these last 2 weeks before the election.
