Dear John,

China is still attacking freedom of religion in Tibet, but our community of
compassion is strong and determined to defend it. We’ve laid out an ambitious plan to push back on China and promote Tibetan
freedom, but we need to raise $500,000 by tomorrow.

Because this is so important, Richard Gere and a small group of friends have
offered to match all gifts up to $250,000—to get us to our goal twice as fast.
But our expiration date, 12/31, is right around the corner.

John, will you join our movement to stand with Tibet
today? Your gift by tomorrow will make a real difference—and with the match, every
dollar you give means TWO dollars for Tibet.

Your generous support, which will be doubled, helps in so many ways.
You can help secure our second major US legislative victory for Tibet in two
years by helping pass the Tibetan Policy and Support Act. You defend the right
of Tibetan Buddhists to select their own religious leaders free of China’s
interference. And you give Tibetans—not China’s mining and manufacturing
companies—the power to decide how their own land will be used.

As a person of compassion, your support makes a tremendous difference for Tibet.
But to have your gift matched by Richard Gere for the biggest impact, you must
donate by 12/31.

With your support, we’re closer than ever to new victories for Tibet. Please
make a special gift today to double your impact.

Sincerely,

Matteo Mecacci
President

P.S. This matching gift offer expires tomorrow.
Show Tibetans that they have the full support of the ICT community by making
your best gift now. And when you give by December 31st, your gift will be matched.
