Intersex Awareness Day

Hi John,

Today, October 26, marks International Intersex Awareness Day, a day to encourage dialogue and raise awareness of the human rights violations faced by intersex people. Canada is falling behind the rest of the world in regard to sufficient laws and resources to protect intersex people. 

Human rights groups around the world continue to condemn surgeries on intersex children that are still happening throughout Canada today. Learn more with our latest research and community-based resources.
