Last night, I debated my far-right, Trump-endorsed opponent who is trying to get elected by lying to New Yorkers and attacking me with false smears.

Let me remind you who is challenging my seat in the governor’s office:

Lee Zeldin voted against new jobs and lower costs for Americans.

He opposed Red Flag laws and advocated to repeal the SAFE Act.

He helped Donald Trump in his attempt to overturn the 2020 election.

He told an anti-abortion group that he would ban abortion without exceptions and defund Planned Parenthood. 

And he’s running against me to stop my efforts to defend our democracy, protect our fundamental rights, keep our communities safe, and make progress for every New Yorker. 

Lee Zeldin has amassed more than $11 million from dark money groups, and is spending it on TV, radio, and online ads — all of them attacking me.

I’m focused and committed to delivering results for New Yorkers and protecting their fundamental rights. And on November 8th, we will defend our values at the ballot box and show my extreme opponent that the people of New York don’t want another Trump sycophant in office.
