John, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you: |
- How did the Lincoln Project pull off its scam?
Before the 2020 election, a cabal of former Republican consultants created the Lincoln Project, a super PAC purportedly designed to target President Donald Trump to prevent his reelection. Their anti-Trump marks ate up the pitch, and the donations rolled in. Just in time for the midterm election, Ken Braun begins reviewing Showtime's The Lincoln Project documentary series here.
- Who is funding illegal immigration into the U.S.?
The Biden Administration is all over the place on immigration, one minute signaling an open border, the next treating the growing crisis like an invasion. The flow of government money has been more consistent. The administration has funneled tens of millions of dollars to nonprofits who provide legal services and other support to illegal immigrants. CRC's Sarah Lee follows the taxpayers' money here.
Are other left-wing billionaires supporting progressive prosecutors?
Crime rates in U.S. cities are surging, courtesy of left-wing "Soros prosecutors," whose campaign coffers are often filled by George Soros. But other billionaires have contributed to the chaos, including financier Dustin Moskovitz. Moskovitz has avoided attention while building up an empire of nonprofits. CRC's Parker Thayer traces more than $207 million of Moskovitz's money to criminal justice reform initiatives here.
- What is the Arabella Network trying to hide?
Arabella Advisors is one of the Left's top consultancies to foundations and mega-donors who want to make grants to activist nonprofits. Contrary to its public claims that they are separate legal entities, internal communication show that Arabella Advisors and its network of five nonprofits operate as one unit. CRC's Hayden Ludwig exposes the Arabella hydra here.

Arabella Advisors, CTCL, and Partisan Use of Nonprofits |
On the Kim Monson Show podcast, Hayden Ludwig discusses CRC’s work on Arabella Advisors, Center for Tech and Civil Life (CTCL), “Zuck bucks,” and the partisan use of nonprofits.
Arabella Advisors accepts money from large left-wing foundations to run political campaigns through its nonprofits, while hiding the original sources of the funding. Often, its nonprofit arms create "pop-ups" that are little more than websites created to give the impression that the campaigns are grassroots. Instead, they are actually run from the Arabella offices in Washington, DC. In fact, some Arabella money also went to CTCL, apparently to fund a trial run of targeting grants to election offices in Wisconsin. This prepared the way for the massive influx of funding from Mark Zuckerberg, which helped turn out votes for Joe Biden, especially in swing states, in the 2020 presidential election.

California’s Union Payoff |
In this episode: Since the Supreme Court ruled in Janus v. AFSCME that forcing government workers to pay union fees was an unconstitutional infringement of their free speech rights, union-aligned governments have come up with some creative approaches to supporting their government worker union allies.
But California hasn't even bothered with creativity: The state's ruling Democrats enacted legislation to simply pay unions directly with $400 million in taxpayer money. Joining CRC's Michael Watson to discuss this latest case of California becoming Big Labor's Golden State is Rachel Greszler, research fellow in economics, budget, and entitlements at the Heritage Foundation.
