Linde and BP are pursuing a joint carbon capture and storage project for hydrogen plants along Texas' Gulf Coast -- just one of many hydrogen-related projects being planned in the Houston area by major energy companies. The projects are fueled by sizable tax credits for hydrogen in the Inflation Reduction Act, and industry experts say the sector could eventually be worth $1 trillion.
