Hi John: When Representative Brianna Titone won her race in 2018, she made history as the first openly transgender state legislator elected in Colorado. And though she hasn't been in office long, she's already made her mark. Together with Representative Leslie Herod, Brianna helped repeal Colorado's ban on conversion therapy, fought to lower housing costs, raise the living wage and increase teachers' salaries. But how'd Brianna learn to run for office - and win?: Brianna is a much needed voice for the LGBTQ community in Colorado's legislature and we can't wait to see what she does next. But we need to bring even more LGBTQ leaders to legislatures around the country. Help us hit our End of Year goal and raise $20,000 for our candidate and campaign trainings! Thanks again for your support - Reggie Greer Director of Constituent Engagement, LGBTQ Victory Institute |
