Hi friends – it’s Assistant Speaker Katherine Clark and I'm reaching out today to talk about my friend and fellow Democrat running for Congress, Seth Magaziner.

Seth is currently serving as Rhode Island's Treasurer, and he's the Democratic Nominee for Rhode Island's open 2nd congressional district. He's in a tough fight, and with only 14 days to go, he needs our help.

Seth is facing Trump-supporting Republican Allan Fung. If Fung is elected, his first vote would be to turn control of Congress to extremist Republicans who want to repeal the Affordable Care Act, ban abortion, privatize Social Security, and more. That's why Fung has the full support of Kevin McCarthy and other national Republicans who are spending more than $2 million against Seth because they know Fung will support their extreme agenda in Congress.

We can't afford Allan Fung in Congress, but defeating him won't be easy. Election experts are calling Seth's race a "toss up," and the attacks against him have been ramping up. He needs our help to fight back.

Throughout his time as Treasurer, Seth worked to address the issues that matter most to Rhode Islanders – creating a more equitable economy, defending reproductive rights, ending gun violence, and more. We can count on Seth to continue these fights in Congress.

In Congress, Seth will focus on lowering the cost of prescription drugs, protecting reproductive rights, passing gun safety legislation, and protecting Social Security and Medicare.

But his opponent and national Republicans will do whatever it takes to flip this seat red. With so much at stake this November, Seth needs our help to fight back.
