Two weeks from today, polls will be closing across the country and families will be settling in for the night to watch the election results trickle in.

Election forecasters were right about the national environment – Republicans and Democrats are near even in turnout which has made the Senate and House true toss-ups. Races are close, and a few are waiting on mail-in ballots to be counted for results to be called, but one thing is clear: Control of the House will come down to a single seat.

Nevada, being one of the last states to close their polls in the country, is keeping us on edge. The race between Susie Lee and April Becker is as close as the polls said it would be, which means we could be in for a long wait to receive results.

Nevada election experts have said themselves, Susie Lee is “the most vulnerable” House Democrat running for re-election in our state.

It’s here when every dollar raised by both Susie Lee and her opponent starts to come to fruition. Every television ad run, door knocked, phone call made, and mailer sent out – the race is close enough where you can feel the difference it has made.

And when the race is finally called, Democrats or Republicans will be celebrating for one of two reasons:

1. Our grassroots campaign just saved the Democratic House majority.
2. April Becker has given the House over to Republicans to pass their barbaric agenda.

We’d much prefer the first option in this scenario but we can’t make it happen without your help.
