I’m in the car heading home from tonight’s debate against my radical GOP opponent, Jen Kiggans.

My goal was to remind voters across Coastal Virginia of the incredibly high stakes of this election – and to make a clear, compelling case for why they should support me this November. I’m proud to say I think I did just that.

Winning this debate is an important step for my campaign, but we can’t get complacent because this race is going to be extremely close. We still have so much work to do if we’re going to win on Election Day.

Since I stepped off the debate stage, we’ve seen an incredible outpouring of support. But unfortunately, we’ve still come up short of our $100,000 goal, and that could have serious consequences for a toss-up race like ours.

Kiggans and her right-wing GOP allies are determined to crush our momentum, and they have the resources to do just that. So, I’m making a personal request: will you pitch in $5 or $10 to help me defeat my election-denying, anti-choice opponent, win this battleground race, and defend our democracy?
