Challenge #1: My Republican opponent's name is Mike Doyle. Yep, he shares the name of the retiring Democratic Congressman from this district — and he's doing everything he can to sow confusion thinking it will be his ticket to victory. He's recording misleading robocalls and conveniently forgets to identify as a Republican when talking to voters.

But make no mistake, Republican Mike Doyle is an anti-abortion, insurrection-aligned extremist Republican. We need the resources to communicate with uninformed voters, make sure they actually understand who is on the ballot, and share Summer's positive people-first vision for PA-12.

Challenge #2: Next door to my district is PA-17, one of the most competitive House seats in the country. And in an attempt to weaken the Democratic candidate there, the Congressional Leadership Fund — a major GOP super PAC — is spending millions of dollars attacking me and my campaign.

Once again super PACs are using dirty political tactics to attack me — and since PA-12 and PA-17 share a media market, it's critical we have the resources to fight back against these attack ads.
