John,
If you don’t know me: Hi, I’m Erin, Sunrise’s Fundraising Director. We are so close to finishing out our big December fundraising push and I wanted to say thanks for sticking with us. We know your inbox is probably flooded with fundraising emails this time of year, so if you’ve considered donating, shared about Sunrise on social media this month, or even just read our emails with dedication -- thank you.
But I’m writing to you today because despite the incredible growth of our grassroots giving program, we're behind on our goals. If we can’t reach reach them, we’re going to have to say no to some programs and scale back on our dreams during a critical election year.
That’s why in these last days of the year we’ve set a goal of reaching 3,000 new monthly donors. To help us get there, a small group of generous individuals have pledged to give $100,000 if we get to 6,000 monthly sustainers by tomorrow night. We're already at 4,300--but we still need 1,700 more.
If there were ever a time to give, this is it. Will you consider starting a monthly gift today to help us reach this goal?
Yes, I will start a gift of $3 a month to help this movement reach our 6,000 person sustainer goal and unlock $100,000.
No, I can’t start a monthly gift at this time, but I’ll make a one-time donation instead.
If we we’re going to make a splash in 2020 -- showing up by the millions at the climate strikes, training thousands of new young people, and intervening in the election -- then all of us are going to have to give what we can.
I just started a new monthly gift myself to make sure we won’t have to cut back on our plans in this critical year, and I was hoping you would consider the same.
Can you give $3 a month to help us reach our 6,000 person sustainer goal and unlock $100,000 that’s waiting in the wings?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Chip in $3 a month
Chip in $10 a month
Chip in $25 a month
Chip in $50 a month
Chip in another amount
Thanks for reading this far. This movement wouldn’t be possible without you.
To reaching our dreams,
Erin Bridges
