This headline couldn’t be more clear about what’s at stake in the Secretary of State’s race.

Headline: Vote by Mail (Not to Mention Democracy) At Stake in Arizona Secretary of State Race

More than 85 percent of Arizonans vote-by-mail – and have done so for more than a decade. Republican Mark Finchem has even voted by mail several times himself.

But that’s not stopping Finchem from railing against Arizonans’ preferred method of voting and vowing to end vote-by-mail altogether if he’s elected Secretary of State.

Finchem won’t even promise to honor the will of Arizona voters if they don’t select Donald Trump for president in 2024.

So like the headline says – if we let Finchem win, vote-by-mail and our very democracy is at risk.
