Friend --

It has been great to share our stories with you throughout the holiday season, and we thank you for journeying with us in 2019.

In 2020, Action NC will build on the organizing work we grew in 2019, and expand it further to meet the urgency of this crucial election year. We all know that our collective commitment to racial, gender and economic justice will be on the ballot. We’ll rise to this historic challenge and opportunity, and ask that you grow our 2020 organizing work with a year-end contribution of $20 today <[link removed]>. <[link removed]>

With your support in 2019, we have advanced the statewide fight Medicaid expansion, and have won significant victories for affordable housing, tenant rights, criminal justice reform, and immigrant rights. We have invested in organizing black and brown women and extended our outreach to them into new cities and counties. They have worked for reproductive justice and an end to unjust deportations and inhumane family separations. As we do every year, we have registered and turned out voters in disenfranchised communities.

Can you chip in $20 to help continue the fight in 2020? <[link removed]>

We simply can’t allow what is still happening in Raleigh, in Washington, and in the White House to continue, so we will do more in 2020. We’ll start registering 15,000 voters in January. Other projects and campaigns your contribution <[link removed]> will support us in 2020 include:

Grow the Vote

- Build grassroots political power by increasing the number of registered voters in minority and low-wealth communities and then getting them out to vote in larger numbers

Race, Gender and Equity (RAGE)

- Building political and personal power for Black and Brown Women across North Carolina

Safe Coalition NC

- Fighting to bring about municipal & legislative change in the areas of police accountability & Criminal Justice Reform

Líderes en Acción

- Leading the fight for Immigrant Justice in North Carolina

Tenant Rights (TORC)

- Organizing tenants to protect their rights and influence housing policy

Senior Warrior Action Network (SWAN)

- A grassroots group of seniors working together to protect and promote healthcare access and retirement security

It takes grassroots organizing to win. That’s what we do. Can you chip in $20 to help continue the fight in 2020? <[link removed]> <[link removed]>
