Big news: The two largest newspapers in North Carolina just endorsed Cheri Beasley for U.S. Senate.

The News & Observer and The Charlotte Observer said, “Her values on important issues, including abortion and the climate crisis, align with most of the constituents she would serve.”

They described Cheri as “a principled leader who would represent our state with integrity and decency.”

The choice here is clear, but we need to make sure we have the resources to get Cheri’s message to as many voters as possible. Please pitch in anything you can afford right now to help us organize and turn out voters during early voting.

The Editorial Boards not only praised Cheri, but they called out Ted Budd for his extremism and loyalty to National Republicans. They could not have made the contrast any clearer.

“Our country needs leaders who are certain to speak up for basic principles of equality and truth instead of bowing to the hate of extremism.” They added, “Ted Budd has already shown us that he’s willing to be politically prostrate in exchange for Donald Trump’s support.”

We need to fight back against the super PACs trying to buy this seat with tens of millions of dollars in outside spending to ensure voters hear the truth about Ted Budd.

Please pitch in anything you can afford today to help us flip North Carolina. We cannot let the dark money lies from our opponents go unanswered.
