it’s Ryan, Peter’s campaign manager, back in your inbox with this week’s
Tuesday email.
We are busy busy busy on the Welch Wagon doing our best to make the most
of the final two weeks before Election Day, so I won’t keep you too long,
but I wanted to give you a couple quick updates as we head into the
homestretch of this race.

moments, but if you’ve got to go already, would you consider pitching in
to Peter’s Senate campaign? Our work doesn’t stop until the polls close,
and we’ll need All Hands On Deck to get there.

We launched the Welch Wagon to motivate and inspire Vermonters to get out
and vote for Peter, but I’ve got to admit this experience has given me new
fuel to keep pushing in the final days of the campaign. I’ve been reminded
of what we can accomplish when we come together — and also that the GOP is
too often determined to drag us all backwards.
Vermont would not be exempt from the very real effects of what they’re
looking to accomplish. Nothing drives home what is at stake more than my
daughter. She is my daily motivation to stay in the fight for her future.

There’s a lot on the line in this election — from abortion rights to
climate change and so, so much more — and we have to protect the
Democratic majority in the Senate in order to keep driving our progressive
vision. Giving this seat to Mitch McConnell and the GOP would have such a
detrimental impact on the future of our state, and we’ve got to fight to
ensure that doesn’t happen. Remember: Republicans only need one seat to
retake Senate control, and we can’t let it be Vermont.
