This U.S. Senate race is going to be one of the closest races in the whole country. A CNN poll that came out yesterday shows us trailing by just one point, and Cook Political rates us as a toss-up.

So our job right now, with early voting now open, is to reach the voters who will decide the outcome of this race. We know which people we need to persuade and mobilize in order to win, but whether or not they vote in this election is up to us.

This is a pivotal moment for our campaign, and we don't get another chance at this. It will take a lot of time, energy, and resources in order to turn out voters across Wisconsin, and today I need to ask for your help.

If you've been waiting for the best time to make a contribution, now is the time. So please:

Can you split a $25 contribution between my campaign for U.S. Senate and Debbie Stabenow today? Wisconsin will determine whether we expand – or lose – the Senate majority, and your contribution today will determine whether we'll have the resources to flip this seat.

I know that we've asked a lot of you lately, and I hope you take that as a sign of just how important it is that people like you are involved in this race.

The majority of the money that we've raised this month has come from people contributing small-dollar donations, often in response to emails like this one.
