Look, living in a city is great. But sometimes, you just want to leave the rat race (which too often involves literal rats), and get out, get some fresh air, and take part in some fun fall activities. 

Hopefully by now you’ve gotten your trips to the pumpkin patch or the apple orchard out of the way, and are now ready for something much more important (but equally Instagrammable): canvassing in swing districts.

DC, you’ve got options for your canvassing day trip, all leaving from Union Station: 

On Saturday, November 5th, head down to Virginia’s 2nd District to support Rep. Elaine Luria, who is a top target for Republicans.

Alternatively, go to Maryland’s 6th District on Saturday to canvas for Rep. David Trone, whose district has changed substantially since redistricting and will need help getting his name out there.

On Sunday, you’ve got options once again. Head up to Pennsylvania to knock doors for Josh Shapiro and John Fetterman, or go back to Virginia to knock doors for Abigail Spanberger in VA’s 7th Congressional District. 

Make sure you sign up now, because seats on the bus are limited. 

Team, we’re in the final stretch now, and all of these races are in the margin of effort—it’s close enough that our work can make the difference. If you haven’t been canvassing yet this year, this is a great way to get out there AND make a bunch of new friends (you can bring your existing friends, too. The more the merrier). (But also, you can still canvass on the second to last weekend. These races are close and you’ll feel a lot better doing this than letting a stray poll on Twitter ruin your Halloween festivities)
