JOHN, Max here.

Two weeks from today, people across Staten Island and Brooklyn will be heading to the polls to answer a central question: What will the future of our district and our country look like?

My opponent Nicole Malliotakis and I represent very different answers to this question. I’m confident about my vision for the future of NY-11 and our country and I want to tell you why that is.

But if you already know how important this election is, please chip in to support my battleground campaign.

I’m running for Congress because I want a future that protects reproductive rights, lowers the cost of goods for working families, and makes health care more accessible for all. On the other hand, my opponent can’t promise you that she’s going to fight for any of this.

In fact, Nicole Malliotakis’s record showed that she’s against protecting reproductive rights when she voted ‘Nay’ to codifying Roe v. Wade into federal law. Nicole also isn’t interested in lowering costs for families, either – she voted against lowering gas prices because she was playing politics. And if you check out her website, she doesn’t mention a word about protecting health care.

Nicole Malliotakis has shown us the type of leader that she is. She’s disinterested in helping people across this district and it’s shameful.

As a representative, it’s your job to listen to your constituents and head to the floor of the House to vote in their best interest. After having thousands of conversations with people across Staten Island and New York, I can tell you for certain that people know Nicole is too busy listening to GOP leaders to hear the concerns of her district.

The future that Nicole is offering to give to NY-11 is one where constituents are ignored and some of our most fundamental rights are stripped away. I know I join so many parents when I say that’s not the future I want for my child.

I’m fighting like hell to flip this seat and give people in this district a representative they can count on.

There are just two weeks left to make a real difference in this race. I’m asking you to please chip in as much as you can to help me defeat my opponent and flip this seat.
