Hi John,
We know you’re receiving a lot of emails about something called “EOQ” right now. Our inboxes are flooded too.
John, we want to make sure you know why this moment is so important – and then we hope you will make a donation to Jahana’s re-election campaign.
“EOQ” is an abbreviation for “end of quarter,” the final days ahead of the close of the financial quarter. At the conclusion of each quarter, campaigns have to report their fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
Then, the numbers are released publicly and reporters, pundits, opponents, supporters – anyone – will comb through them looking for insight on a campaign’s successes and failures.
Unfortunately, a lot of people jump to conclusions about these numbers. A lower-than-expected total might lead to headlines predicting doom and gloom on a campaign’s chances. Sadly, we’ve seen too many strong, viable candidates drop out of races because they did not raise enough money.
This is a big deadline for us because Jahana’s FOUR (4) GOP opponents will be reading these reports closer than anyone else. They want to know if she is vulnerable in 2020 – so we cannot let up.
