Hi, Friend!

One of Mayor Joe's top priorities is improving the quality of life of Indy residents, which means better infrastructure and making long-overdue investments in our neighborhood parks.

Most recently, the Mayor attended the groundbreakings for three major projects. The new family center at Frederick Douglass park, the facility upgrades at Krannert Park, and a new solid waste facility that will house new DPW trucks, equipment and new offices. Once completed this new facility will represent the first major upgrade for solid waste management in Indianapolis in over half a century. All of these projects will be built thanks to the Circle City Forward Initiative which is investing over $300 million in improving and building public projects.

New investments are also being made to upgrade Indianapolis’ fire stations in addition to a new facility to replace the nearly 100-year-old one in Broad Ripple.

Similarly, Mayor Hogsett is working to redevelop the old City Hall parking lot with the goal of revitalizing the area as part of the administration's efforts to bring investments and new business to the downtown area.

From new infrastructure projects to improving our city’s parks, Mayor Joe Hogsett is determined to make sure Indianapolis residents get what they want from our city government – one that's focused on making our city cleaner, healthier and more prosperous for all.

Thank you,

Hogsett HQ
