Mary Gay’s opponent is the most extreme she’s ever faced. His positions don’t align with our community or our country. Now, polls show this race is within the margin of error — making this race even closer than ever before.

It’s spooky season here in southeastern Pennsylvania, everyone’s getting ready for Halloween with candy on hand and decorations in front lawns. But for campaign staff like me, there’s something else frightening on our minds  — a future with Kevin McCarthy leading the House.

It’s not just the Halloween season, that outcome is downright terrifying. Not only is the Republican party out of line with what Americans want and need, they’re running extremist candidates who threaten our very democracy.
