Election day is two weeks from today.  Polls opened across Texas yesterday.  And we are hard at work to get Texans to the polls.

Turnout in Harris County was strong — more than 60,000 votes cast, just under 2018 levels for the first day of voting.  Fort Bend County was strong, too.  But we have work to do to get people to the polls and to beat those 2018 numbers.

We’ve been all over #TX07 this week to mobilize people to vote in this election.  Here are a few highlights:

In addition to talking with voters in person, Lizzie sat down with Tom Abrahams from Houston’s ABC13 to talk about her work in Congress — including historic investments in infrastructure and health care — as well as the stakes in this year’s elections and helping get the word out across the area.

There are only two Saturdays before Election Day.  Join our next Day of Action this Saturday, October 29.

This is it — we’re in the home stretch to Election Day.  We need as many volunteers as possible helping us get out the vote.  We hope you can make it!

We know you know the stakes in this election.  Make your plan to vote.  Vote early.  And get others to do the same.  (Early voting is every day from now to November 4 in Texas, and the deadline for requesting mail ballots is this Friday, October 28.)
