Thank you for your interest in supporting people on the autism spectrum. I want you to know that supporters like you can change the lives of some wonderful children and adults.
October is both National Disability Employment Awareness Month and National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month — two issues that affect our community in urgent ways.
That’s why, right now, I’m asking for your support of our 2022 Annual Fund to help in these critical areas and beyond. Your gift provides free resources, programs and other services including access to vital screening, intervention and lifelong guidance.
Employment is a powerful tool for a person with autism who is working to build a life of personal meaning. That’s why Autism Speaks has implemented
Workplace Inclusion Now™, an employment initiative that brings together autistic job seekers, employers and communities to build and support an inclusive workplace culture.
Autism Speaks is also dedicated to bullying prevention efforts. Nearly two-thirds of children with autism report being bullied. We stand with them and their families, as a resource for schools and communities, offering guidance and tools to create a more accepting and inclusive culture.
I’m so appreciative of your kindness as you consider giving to help. Now, there’s no better time to stand up for people with autism and help create a world where they can reach their full potential. Your gift to the 2022 Annual Fund will mean so much to those who need fair treatment and the opportunity to live their best lives.
