We are excited to join His Eminence

with many beautiful chapels, a rosary walk, sacred art to meditate
upon, relics to venerate, statues, gardens, Stations of the Cross and
Pilgrim Paths -all very spiritually inviting for visitors and
pilgrims, that come from around the world. The Shrine’s website has

when His Eminence offers the Holy Mass? Please submit
your intentions today, including one for the needs of Cardinal Burke,
as well as the continuation of his good health.
On October 11, Cardinal Burke
offered a Pontifical High Mass at the Shrine. Later, His Eminence
warmly greeted those who came.

The Month of November is dedicated
to the Holy Souls in Purgatory, with the Commemoration of All the
Faithful Departed (All Souls Day) on November 2. A plenary indulgence,
applicable only to the Souls in
Purgatory, is granted to the
faithful, who devoutly visit a cemetery and pray, if only mentally,
for the departed. You may receive the plenary
indulgence each day, from the 1st to the 8th of
November. The Holy Souls are
depending on you to help them!
Have you noticed, that more and
more people, young and old (including religious) are committing
suicide? Physician assisted suicide is now legal in eleven states.
There are organizations that use “softer, calming” words to describe a
self-inflicted death, generally using a drug overdose prescribed by a
doctor for the purpose of suicide. However, so many souls have ended
their lives with other methods. Catholic teaching views suicide as a
grave offense against love of self, one that also breaks the bonds of
love and solidarity with family, friends, and God (Catechism of the
Catholic Church [CCC], no. 2281).
Let us place a special emphasis
this month on the souls who have committed suicide, as well as their
loved ones:
Lord Jesus, we lift up all souls,
who in a moment of desperation, blinded by despair, ended their lives.
Through the merits of Your cross and resurrection, we humbly beg for
Your mercy. Please, Lord, have mercy on their souls. Keep in the palm
of Your hand, all of their family and friends who mourn, for their
wounds are deep. We ask this through Our Mother of Sorrows, whose own
heart was pierced by the sword of sorrows. AMEN.
I would like to take this
opportunity to thank you for being part of Cardinal Burke's Rosary
Crusade Operation Storm
Heaven.
I would also like to encourage you to recite the Holy Rosary every day
as Our Lady requested, if you do not do so already.
Finally, if you know
others who have intentions and would like to submit them, and to help
others join Operation Storm Heaven, please forward this email to your
family and friends and ask them to click here.
Yours in the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
