John,

We were very disappointed to learn that Youngkin’s Department of Elections sent out false mailers to over 13,000 voters in the town of Herndon telling them they need to drive to Fairfax to vote.

Whether this was accidental or purposeful, the fact remains that misinformation is being spread by this administration, and we will not stand for it.

John, with just two weeks left until Election Day, both parties should be working to make sure that voters have access to the ballot and accurate information about it. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here in Virginia, and we need to demand better. Will you sign our petition to call for clear, transparent guidance from our Department of Elections?

The Fairfax Democrats have taken up the mantle of letting Herndon voters know they don’t need to make the half-hour drive (or two-hour commute!) to Fairfax just to cast their ballot.

Chair Bryan Graham released a statement saying, “It is disappointing that the Party now in charge of administering our elections is so woefully incompetent at managing something as simple as a voter information mailer. Instead of gallivanting across the country for election conspiracy theorists, Governor Youngkin should be in the state he was elected to serve in order to lead his Administration in fulfilling their duties to the people of the Commonwealth.”

John, while we applaud the Fairfax Democrats for trying to sort this out, it should not have come to this. Our state government needs to prioritize getting out accurate information to every Virginia voter, because our democracy depends on it. Add your name to help us tell Gov. Youngkin, and his Department of Elections, that voter misinformation will not stand on our watch.
