Adam Schiff for Congress

John, I worry very much that our democracy itself has been reduced to just another campaign issue on which Democrats and Republicans are allowed to differ.

Over 60 percent of Americans have an election denier on their ballot.

Over 60 percent of Republicans still believe that Biden didn’t legitimately win the 2020 election.

And 147 Republicans in Congress voted to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

But the sky is blue, water is wet, a bear does its business in the woods, and my goodness, there was no widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. And Biden won.

That’s neither a matter of opinion nor an issue that two legitimate political parties can disagree on, but that won’t stop Kevin McCarthy and the Republican Party if they are allowed to retake the House majority.

So with two weeks to go until Election Day, I’m urgently asking for your support, John — please pitch in $10 or whatever you can spare to help Democrats hold our House majority.

This Republican Party can never regain hold of our levers of government while Trump and his lies still dictate their every action. I fear for our country – and for the future of our democratic experiment – if they ever do.

But with your support, I have faith we can do what must be done to win this election and strengthen our democracy for generations to come.
