I’m reaching out to ask you to support my friend Val Demings’ campaign for U.S. Senate in Florida.

Val recently debated Marco Rubio and made the case for a more just America. She has a positive vision for what is possible, and she knows that the only thing standing in our way is a lack of courage by a small few in the U.S. Senate. That’s why she’d proudly vote to eliminate the filibuster to deliver meaningful progress.

In the debate, she did not hesitate to proudly affirm her strong support for abortion rights and gun safety legislation, and the contrast on those issues was exceptionally clear.

Yes, Florida is a hard state. But Val is tough as nails, and just like her mom taught her, she never tires. In a race as competitive as this one, there’s no one I’d rather have leading the ticket than Val.

I’m going to head down soon to campaign with her, and before I get to Florida, I want to be able to tell her that our movement has her back. So I’m asking you to help her finish strong and flip this seat.

The stakes are too high this November to leave anything to chance. With barely two weeks left, it’s our job to leave it all on the field.
