Millions of illegal migrants have been apprehended at the border. Our border patrol is underfunded and overwhelmed. Thousands of pounds of fentanyl and other illicit drugs are crossing our border and making their way to our communities.
Yet, my opponent stated, “I believe our border is secure”. You can’t make this up.
I couldn’t believe what I heard when my opponent said that. The evidence is abundant and clear. There is a crisis at our border, and we need to fix it.
I’ve been to the border and met with our border patrol officers. I spoke with them about how we can better secure our border. Unlike the far left radicals in Washington, I have a plan to fix our border.
- Hire more border patrol officers
- Invest in technology to help make our border patrol more efficient and capable
- We need to build a wall
Democrats like my opponent refuse to acknowledge that there is a crisis at our border.
