Dear Subscriber,

City Limits was founded back in 1976 during the height of New York’s fiscal crisis, to equip citizens to create a more just city. For over forty years, we’ve published award-winning journalism that has informed and empowered New Yorkers.

Today our work matters like never before, but as a nonprofit news organization, we lack the resources of a larger publication. Our journalists provide a critical service, and we depend on readers to step up and support our work.

We’re relying on you.

We have one day left until the December 31st NewsMatch deadline, and we need your help to meet our goal of $20,000. We’re so close, with $17,000 already raised, and your donation could be the one that helps us get there.

Will you give today to invest in the news you need? This news can’t wait.
Yes, I'll donate today for TWICE the impact

With this matching gift opportunity, we can focus on bringing you the journalism you’ve come to expect, without us having to worry about keeping the lights on. Won’t you join us in standing up for journalism that makes a difference?

With gratitude,

Fran Reilly
Publisher & Executive Director
City Limits

P.S. The next five new or renewing members to give $100 or above will receive this exclusive limited edition print by artist Sue Coe, hand-signed and numbered. This beautiful 11x 16 print, titled Enemy of the People, explores the theme of First Amendment rights in today’s political climate. Only 75 copies were printed and we only have 5 left, don't miss your chance to own one.
