John, Today, we’re just two weeks out from Election Day. But the truth is, the election is happening right now! With mail-in voting and early voting already underway, voters are casting their ballots and making their voices heard in one of the most important elections in our lifetimes. We have come such a long way since we first launched this campaign last year. Normally, you’re considered an underdog when you’re going up against an incumbent with a war chest. But it goes to show just how extreme and out-of-touch Yvette Herrell is. I set out to build a campaign based on people power: community members coming together and pitching in however they can to elect a leader who will truly represent them and their best interests in Congress. Someone who will defend your basic reproductive and voting rights, support higher wages and job creation, and lower prescription drug costs and cap insulin prices — all of which Herrell voted against during her first term. With 14 days left until the midterm election comes to a close, we’re a DCCC Red-to-Blue race, a Cook Political Report toss-up seat, a top-ten House race according to FiveThirtyEight, and we’re winning by three points in the most recent poll!
