I met Hillary Clinton for the first time in 2006 and while I’d admired her work on behalf of children for years, that meeting was transformative.

Secretary Clinton once told me that every day there are a million opportunities to help kids. Let’s make more of those opportunities a reality.

Hillary Clinton is turning 75 this week, and in celebration of her birthday, I’d like to ask you to help fund the work at the Clinton Foundation that means so much to her.

Secretary Clinton would tell you that the best gift you could give a child is to spend time with them – talking, reading, singing, and engaging in every day moments and routines. A gift to the Clinton Foundation would help support early childhood development programs like Too Small to Fail, allowing more parents and caregivers to spend meaningful moments with their children.

Nearly 60 percent of children in the United States start kindergarten unprepared. But, through partnerships with pediatricians, hospitals, faith-based leaders, community-based organizations, businesses, entertainment industry leaders, and others, the Clinton Foundation meets parents where they are, helping them prepare their children for success in school and in life.
