Hey folks – when I was out knocking on doors recently, a young girl asked to take a picture with me, which inspired me to write this email.

When I first ran for Congress in 2018, a lot of people believed I was wasting my time. After all, MI-11 had never sent a woman to Congress before, and it hadn’t even seen a Democrat serve a full term in over 50 years!

But after rolling up my sleeves, I shocked the pundits and flipped this historic GOP district blue.

I serve in Congress not just to deliver results for my constituents – I’m in Congress to be a role model for young women across the district as well.

That’s why I’m fighting tooth and nail every day in Congress to safeguard our reproductive freedom and stop extremists who seek to control women's bodies.
