Anonymous,
It's a familiar sight to all of us. A bee buzzing through the air on a warm day, landing lightly on a flower. This simple act has been playing out in nature for millions of years.[1]
But today, the bees that have been pollinating our planet's flowers, trees and food for millions of years are at risk of disappearing entirely. Loss of habitat, bee-killing pesticides and global warming are decimating bee populations, threatening our food supply and our ecosystems.[2]
That's why we're ramping up efforts to save the bees in 2020. And thanks to a generous group of donors, if you contribute to our environmental campaigns before the year ends, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $100,000 nationwide.

Bees may be small, but they play a huge role in the delicate balance of our planet. They pollinate 71 of the 100 crops that account for 90 percent of the world's food. No bees, no food.[3]
That's why we're ramping up our efforts to save the bees in the coming year. With your support, Environment Colorado and our national network will be able to put boots on the ground across the country, going door-to-door to rally the public and show legislators that it's time to step up for bees.
And we'll lead the charge in Denver to ban the worst uses of bee-killing neonic pesticides.
But these efforts take resources, and we want to do even more to save the bees in 2020.
If you donate today, your matched contribution will go twice as far, up to $100,000 nationwide. Stand with us to save the bees, and be part of all of our campaigns to protect wild spaces, promote clean energy and more.

These bee die-offs are unsustainable. It's time for all of us to stand up for these essential pollinators.
