Hello!
The midterm elections are Tuesday, November 8 - two weeks from today. You can early vote now through Thursday, November 3. Find your polling location here.

In addition to elections for governor and state representatives, there are four amendments to the state constitution up for a vote. Amendment One would enshrine Tennessee's "Right to Work" law into the state constitution. “Right to Work” laws in any state strip workers from having a voice in negotiating wages, benefits, and safe workplaces.
Aside from being bad for workers, Amendment One has already been on the Tennessee lawbooks since 1947. Supporters of “Right to Work” and Amendment One claim that the law protects workers against being forced to join a union, but federal law already makes it illegal to force someone to join a union.
Chattanooga DSA, the Tennessee AFL-CIO, and other pro-worker organizations are against Amendment One and urge you to vote NO on Amendment One.
Also - please note that according to Tennessee Law, you must vote for governor in order for your vote on a constitutional amendment to count. And yes, that includes write-in votes!
We hope to see you at the polls to vote NO on Amendment One on November 8. If you need help making a voting plan, please let us know.
