There are few people I’ve met who are as passionate about serving their community as Jessica. Born and raised in the border town of Laredo, Jessica became an immigration attorney to fight for the rights of migrants.

After seeing too many families torn apart by this administration's immigration policies, and learning that her own Democratic Congressman was supporting those policies in Washington, Jessica decided to run for Congress. She’s fighting for a brighter future for her neighbors in Texas’ 28th district.

I need partners like Jessica fighting by my side in Congress next year. We need more fearless women of color in Congress who will fight for reproductive rights, Medicare for All, and the Green New Deal.

Jessica has done the work to win but needs our help to get across the finish line.
