With today being the last day to register online to vote, Katie Porter was really hoping her text messages wouldn’t be exposed. But with the latest reporting from Fox News, Porter is now engulfed in a full-blown public corruption scandal:

Her not-so-veiled “see what happens” threat aimed at a local official is the kind of behavior we expect from tyrants and dictators, not American public servants.  

This is going to make it very hard for her to be re-elected, but there’s one problem: today is the final day for voters to register online. If Republican voters miss this deadline, Katie Porter may coast to re-election simply because not enough Republicans are registered.
