Dear Team Scholten,

My name is Sara, and like Hillary, I'm the daughter of a former Grand Rapids public school teacher and a sportswriter. I'm also the mom of a 4th grader. I cope with anxiety-provoking, urgent issues like gun violence, racial justice, climate change, and threats to our democracy by finding candidates that inspire me and by taking action to support them.

And I am ALL IN for supporting Hillary Scholten! Hillary is rooted in the Christian social justice tradition, and she will use her passion and experience as a mom, a former social worker, an attorney, and as a woman of faith to serve West Michigan in U.S. Congress. She is also endorsed by three gun violence prevention organizations: Moms Demand Action, Brady, and Giffords, which tells me that she is completely committed to supporting common-sense policies to end the epidemic of gun violence in our communities and schools.
