John,
I just got off the phone with our fundraising team. They gave me an update on our progress heading into midnight. I'll share it with you in a moment. But first, I want to explain why this public reporting deadline is so critical.
After Republicans spent millions in misleading attack ads against us, the latest public polling from the Trafalgar Group shows me trailing Scott Jensen.
We always knew this would be a tough fight. But it's become increasingly clear that we’ll have to close this race flawlessly to pull out a win on November 8.
There's no doubt in my mind that this team is up to the challenge, but if we don't prove it when our fundraising numbers are made public after tonight, we won’t get another chance to regain our momentum by Election Day.
To be blunt, this public reporting deadline is a make-or-break moment for us, and we still need to raise $49,754 between now and midnight to reach our goal.
John, we’ve come WAY too far just to let Minnesota Republicans drag us back to Donald Trump’s brand of fact-free politics of fear and division now. If you can, make a donation that works for you by 11:59 pm so we can continue building a brighter future for our state. We can’t do this without you.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Fifteen days. Let’s get this done.
I’m grateful,
Tim Walz
